Nestled in the picturesque coastal village of Borgarnes, just an hour north of Reykjavik, the Settlement Centre is situated in the heartland of one of Iceland's most famous medieval tales: Egils Saga.

From Reykjavik you take road No. 1 towards Akureyri. When you reach Borgarnes, turn left at the junction and take the main road through the village. You will find us on the left hand side, by the coast, in two of Borgarnes's oldest houses.
