Where is the Settlement Center?<\/div>
Nestled in the picturesque coastal village of Borgarnes, just an hour north of Reykjavik, the Settlement Center is situated in the heartland of one of Iceland\u2019s most famous medieval tales: Egils Saga.<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
Your route<\/div>

From Reykjavik you take road No. 1 towards Akureyri. When you reach Borgarnes, turn left at the junction and take the main road through the village. You will find us on the left hand side, by the coast, in two of Borgarnes\u2019s oldest houses.<\/p>\n
